Naomi Falk M.D.
Dr. Naomi Falk, M.D. joined the retinal division at Albany Medical Center at the rank of Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in 2003 after completing a vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Texas, Houston and Albany Medical Center.
She completed her residency at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, where she was elected Chief Resident in her final year, after completing an internship in internal medicine at Winthrop University Hospital in June of 1998. She earned her M.D. from SUNY Health Science Center in Syracuse, New York.
Before beginning her career in ophthalmology, Dr. Falk was an Assistant Professor of Optometry at SUNY College of Optometry.
She also held an appointment as a Clinical Instructor at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Northport, New York.
During her optometric career, Dr. Falk gained extensive experience in caring for the low-vision patients, as well as in the care of brain injured patients. She also carried out studies on treatments in ocular trauma.
